My Journey – From Adversity to Purpose
My path hasn’t always been easy. At age 9, I was hit by a truck while walking on the sidewalk. The driver was distracted, jumped the curb, and my world changed in an instant. I was rushed to the hospital, underwent emergency surgery, and spent my 10th birthday in ICU. Doctors weren’t sure I’d survive the night. A metal rod was placed through my shin to heal my femur, and I spent weeks in traction, followed by months of recovery.
When I finally returned home, I was heavier, self-conscious, and bullied at school. Teachers treated me as “fragile,” warning classmates to be “extra careful” around me during recess. As an only child in the country, with a hardworking dad and nurturing mom who grew up in a different era, I had to learn most things on my own—through trial, error, and sheer determination.
That experience taught me a profound truth: Your past does not define you. You are the author of your future. It ignited a drive to sweep aside obstacles, follow impulses toward meaningful experiences, and live with sensuousness, purpose, and courage.
Service & Strength – Firefighter, Paramedic, Lifesaver
I channeled that resilience into a career of service. I became a firefighter and paramedic, rising to the rank of Lieutenant while continuing to work actively as a paramedic. Those years were intense—high-stakes decisions, life-or-death moments, and showing up fully for people at their most vulnerable. I learned to stay calm in chaos, make quick decisions that matter, and care deeply when others needed it most.
That same composure, empathy, and commitment to protecting what matters now shapes how I approach real estate. Whether it’s navigating a complex dock permit on Lake Lanier or helping a family find their dream acreage, I bring the same steady hand and servant’s heart.
Those years on the front lines taught me something deeper: people don’t just need technical solutions—they need someone who sees them, hears them, and stands with them when everything feels uncertain. I carried people through emergencies when their lives hung in the balance; now I want to carry that same steady presence into the uncertainty of a home purchase or sale. Real estate isn’t just about contracts and closings—it’s about protecting dreams, preserving legacies, and creating safety and belonging in a place called home. That’s the heart I’ll bring to Clark & Co: the same dedication that once meant saving lives, now meaning helping families build theirs.
Rooted in North Georgia
I’m deeply connected to this region—from Hall County’s vibrant Gainesville and Lake Lanier hub, to Forsyth County’s family-friendly growth, Dawson County’s spacious retreats, Lumpkin County’s historic Dahlonega charm and mountain appeal, and White County’s peaceful lakeside/mountain living. I understand the unique lifestyle here: shoreline regulations and dock permits on Lanier, equine and acreage properties, and the blend of rural serenity with growing opportunity.
